Seems like most General Authority books released lately are merely remixed content. If you liked the original addresses/articles it might be worthwhile, but for the money, you're often better off printing out the talks from LDS.org and binding them up yourself.

I don't actually think this is a new phenomenon. Rather, the original materials are more widely available, so the repacked published versions are more redundant.

Yeah, the later chapters all end with "From a 20xx Conference Address" or "From a 20xx Ensign article". As far as I can see, there's not much original content; maybe some things are embellished, but it's not worth it imo.
