ITAY NOY

Independent Timepieces & Custom Complications

As one of only a few dozen independent watchmakers in the world, Bezalel lecturer Itay Noy treats horology less like utility and more like wearable kinetic art. Working from his studio in Old Jaffa, he designs and hand-assembles roughly 120 pieces a year, debuting a single limited collection annually to explore fresh philosophical perspectives on time.

His work replaces traditional layouts with progressive mechanical displays and dynamic dials—most notably in his Jewish Heritage collection. Incorporating Hebrew numerals and weekly calendars in pieces like the Shabbat 40MM, Noy grounds his high-horology prowess in tradition, putting contemporary Israeli watchmaking firmly on the world stage.
